Owner and acceptance
The service is operated by MJ Lucena under the trade name SelfPublishedAuditor. Contracting the service means accepting these terms and the applicable custom proposal.
Service description
Book Ads provides ongoing Amazon Ads management for books: initial review, campaign creation or organization, targeting research, bid and budget adjustments, search-term review, monitoring, and communication. It does not include publishing or modifying books in KDP or editorial services unless separately agreed in writing.
Proposal, fees, and ad spend
Scope, markets, books, fees, taxes, duration, and payment terms are defined in each proposal. Advertising spend is paid directly to Amazon and is separate from management fees.
Account access
The client invites SelfPublishedAuditor as an authorized Amazon Ads user with the required permissions. KDP passwords must never be shared. The client retains ownership and responsibility for the account and information supplied.
Client responsibilities
The client confirms the right to advertise the books and use supplied materials and marks, provides accurate information, maintains a valid Amazon Ads payment method, and reports relevant changes.
Decisions, budgets, and platforms
We work within the agreed budget and scope. Amazon may change platform policies, availability, attribution, or functionality. SelfPublishedAuditor is not responsible for third-party interruptions or decisions.
No guarantee
No specific sales, rankings, impressions, clicks, profitability, ACOS, or TACOS are guaranteed. We do provide the management, monitoring, and optimization described in the proposal with professional care.
Term, cancellation, and ending the service
Duration, renewal, notice, and cancellation effects appear in the accepted proposal. Accrued fees and advertising spend remain payable. When the service ends, authorized access is revoked and the client retains the campaigns.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
The brand, methodology, and general materials belong to SelfPublishedAuditor. Non-public account and catalogue information will be treated confidentially except where disclosure is legally required or authorized.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or decisions by external platforms. Total service liability is limited to management fees actually paid for the affected period.
